Local journalist covering Ferguson events jailed

FERGUSON, Mo. (WKRC) -- A local journalist covering the events in Ferguson was taken into custody by police there.
Coulter Loeb, a senior at UC, was working for the Cincinnati Herald.  He had been sending pictures of the demonstrations to the Herald since Monday.
Coulter told his editor he was standing with a group of journalists and demonstrators in a parking lot last night when officers ordered them back to a designated area.  Loeb said he was shoved by an officer so he asked the officer not to assault him.
Loeb was then taken to the Clayton County jail.

He was held for about three hours and released Wednesday, August 20th, 2014, without being charged.
