UPS delivery man plays matchmaker

NEW YORK (WKRC) -- Terry Spiers, a UPS delivery man, has been on his Crown Heights route for 23 years.

Over that time, he's gotten to know some of the families pretty well.

He decided to put his connections to a good use.

He asks those families if they have any guys or girls that want to get married.

After years of trying to make a match, it finally happened earlier this year.

He set up two of his youngest customers, who just got hitched.

Spiers said, "I make a delivery at the house of Zevy Goldin I said to the mom, 'Would Zevy like to get married I have a nice girl for him' and that's where it all went on."

The new couple, Zev & Chana Goldin said, "People ask if I made it up. After shrugging him off several times it was his persistence that actually got us to actually go out."

Terry was at the couple's wedding in June, and their engagement party.

UPS released a statement saying how proud they are of Terry for making a difference.
