One dead and three injured after ATV crash

KENTON COUNTY, KY (WKRC) - One person died and three people were taken to the hospital after an ATV accident.

Around 11p.m. Saturday night, August 9, Kenton County officers responded to an injury accident at the 12000 of Riggs Road just south of Independence.

30-year-old Danielle Marsh was driving the ATV on a long blacktop driveway with three passengers in and on the two person vehicle.  32-year-old Benjamin Marsh, 64-year-old Donald Marsh, and 35-year-old Joseph Robinson were all passengers in the ATV.

As the vehicle was traveling down the steep driveway, Danielle Marsh lost control and the ATV slid sideways, rolling over two times.  Danielle, Benjamin, and Donald Marsh were all thrown from the vehicle.  They suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to UC Medical Center.

Joseph Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
