Diesel spill was larger than first thought

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- More diesel fuel spilled into the Ohio River last week than first thought. About four thousand gallons more than the 5,000 gallons Duke Energy originally estimated.

It was nearly 9,000 gallons in all.

It happened during a fuel transfer at the power plant outside New Richmond.
The good news is the cleanup is finished.
The EPA is still monitoring the river to make sure there are no lingering problems.
