Fitzgerald had no driver's license from 2002 to 2012

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The Democrat running for Ohio governor went without a driver's license for about a decade.

A campaign spokesperson said Ed Fitzgerald's license expired in 2002 and he didn't get a new permanent one until November 2012.  The spokesperson said Fitzgerald scheduled a renewal several times, but something always came up to prevent it.
His driving record has drawn scrutiny because of a 2012 incident in which police found him in his car with a woman at an industrial park in suburban Cleveland.

Fitzgerald said the woman was part of a delegation from Ireland that he and his family were hosting.
