County expected to talk about strike developments

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Butler County leaders planned to speak out about the strike by social workers that has been going on for nearly a week.
The county has said little since the children services employees hit the picket line Monday, August 18th, 2014.  The two sides were far apart on pay issues
County administrator Charles Young planned an update on the county's perspective on the strike during a news conference Sunday afternoon.

The strikers were also holding a town hall meeting.  That meeting will be held from 2p.m. to 4p.m. at Receptions on Boymel Drive in Fairfield.
