New bike-sharing station unveiled

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Joining Cincinnati's bike scene just got a little easier.

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley helped to unveil the first station for Red Bike. That's the city's new bike sharing program. The program launches in September of 2014.
You can rent a bike, ride to another neighborhood and then return the bike to a station there so someone else can use it.

Riders will have a chance to purchase a day pass or an annual membership.

There will eventually be 35 stations with 260 bikes in downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine and Uptown.
