Students raise money for pediatric cancer

MASON, Ohio (WKRC) -- Children came together to raise money in memory of a friend's sibling who lost a long battle with cancer.

A group of more than 15 sixth graders from Mason organized a garage sale Saturday, August 9th, 2014.  They raised $9,000 to go toward pediatric cancer research including St. Baldrick's Foundation and Cancer Free Kids.
The children were motivated by the recent passing of the younger brother of a classmate.
