Homicide in Colerain Township

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police said road rage was what sparked an argument that left one man dead early Sunday, August 24th, 2014, in Colerain Township.

Officers were called to an area of Niagara Drive, not far from Springdale Road, shortly after 1 a.m. for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Anthony Griffin shot and killed in the front yard of a home.

Police said an argument began on the 8200 of Bobolink Avenue between Griffin and  26-year-old Jeremy L. Hardman.  Hardman followed Griffin to the 3200 block of Niagara Street, where they both stopped and continued to argue.  Hardman then pulled out a gun and shot Griffin.

Hardman fled from the scene but was arrested 6 hours later at the 2300 block of Adams Road.
