Construction worker hit by truck is in hospital

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A construction worker was hit by a truck on the job Tuesday, August 19th, 2014, and is in the hospital.

Cincinnati police are looking into the incident.

Police say 50-year-old Randy Perry was driving a concrete mixer Tuesday afternoon in a construction zone on West 8th Street in Queensgate.

The truck hit construction worker Charles Roth.

Roth, 42, was seriously hurt and is in critical condition at U.C. Medical Center.

Investigators say Perry was not speeding or impaired at the time.
