Cincinnati Public Schools back in session

CINCINNATI (Perry Schaible) -- 33,000 students head back to class as Cincinnati Public Schools open for the 2014-2015 school year.

Some of those are kindergartners who will be going to school for the first time.

There will be more buses on the streets, more children on the sidewalks and crossing the roads.

Superintendent Mary Ronan plans to visit four schools, three of which have new principals.

Ronan will begin at Frederick Douglass before going to Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, Woodward Career Technical and Taft Elementary.

Cincinnati Public Schools is also starting a new program call 'My Tomorrow.' It is designed to better prepare students for college and the workforce.
