Driver killed in head-on crash in Ross Township
ROSS TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- One person is killed in a head-on crash in Ross Township early Wednesday morning, August 27th, 2014.
A Chrysler Concord and a Ford F150 pickup truck collided at the 2400 block of Ross-Millville (U.S. 27) just before 6 a.m. One of the vehicles involved caught fire.
The sheriff's accident reconstruction team says the Concord went left of center and hit the pickup truck head-on. The driver of the Concord was killed. The other driver was taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital for chest pains. Investigators are still working to notify the family of the person who was killed.
U.S. 27 was shut down at Hamilton New London Road while police investigated. It reopened at about 9:15 a.m.
