Body pulled from Licking River identified

NEWPORT, Ky. (WKRC) -- Police have identified the body pulled from the Licking River last Friday.

Newport Police say they believe 59-year-old Kenneth Crim drowned himself. They said he had been despondent over some legal and child care issues. Police say he had money in his wallet, so he wasn't robbed. There were no signs of foul play.

Police say the coroner used identification in his wallet and fingerprints to positively identify Crim.
