Mother left for dead after man takes off after motorcycle crash

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- A woman was left for dead at the side of the road and Wednesday August 13th, 2014, her family pleaded for the person responsible to come forward.
The family of Shelly Beagle believed she left on a motorcycle with a friend a week ago Tuesday.  It was a stranger who passed by the scene that called emergency crews who saved her life.

The accident happened just before midnight at Colerain and Banning in Colerain Township.  The accident scene did indicate Shelly Beagle was thrown from a motorcycle.

Her daughter believed she was riding with a friend who hit a concrete island in the road.  When Shelly landed on the ground her head was slit open.  She was in tough shape at the ICU at UC Medical Center and has had two head surgeries.
One of Shelly's friends saw her leave her home less than an hour before the accident with a white man on a 92 Harley Fatboy, two tone with white and silver.
That man was from West Chester and drives a red Dodge.  Police in both Colerain Township and West Chester have not been able to find him for questioning.

Loved ones said Shelly has a tough road ahead and likely will be transferred to the Drake Center soon for further rehabilitation.
