Bengals sign safety
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The Bengals signed S Tony Dye to the roster, from the Bengals practice squad. Dye (5-10, 205; UCLA) is a second-year NFL player. He entered the NFL in the spring of 2012 as a college free agent with the Bengals but spent the regular season on the Reserve/Injured list, due to a preseason ankle injury. He played in all four of this seasons preseason games, was waived on Aug. 31 and was signed to the practice squad on Sept. 24.
The team waived CB Chris Lewis-Harris, a first-year player from Tennessee-Chattanooga. Lewis-Harris played in three games this season, with three special teams tackles.
