REPORT: Bengals Sign Carlos Dunlap to 6-Year, $40 Million Deal

The Bengals are making today all about the future of football in Cincinnati. According to multiple reports, DE Carlos Dunlap has agreed to a 6-year, $40 million dollar extension to keep him in Bengals stripes during his prime. Profootballtalk.com says the deal gives Dunlap $20 of the $40 million on the first two years of his 6-year deal with another $4.5 million in potential escalators. With only 2 starts in his three years, the former Florida Gator has collected 20 sacks. Dunlap just turned 24 and team executives believe he has found his motor. It looks like DT Geno Atkins is next to get paid as he enters his final contract year.
