Ravens awarded safety Miles off waivers

BALTIMORE (National Football Post/ Terry McCormick) -- The Baltimore Ravens claimed safety Jeromy Miles off waivers on Monday, after he was released by the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, according to

Miles, a top special teams performer for Cincinnati, had missed two games with a hamstring injury this year.

According to the report, Cincinnati plans to bring in veteran Chris Crocker, who has had multiple tours of duty with the Bengals, in for another look.
