Chargers/Bengals scores highest rating in 19 years

NEW YORK (WKRC) -- THE NFL ON CBS's broadcast of the AFC Wild Card Playoff game featuring the San Diego Chargers' win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Jan. 5 (1:00-4:15PM ET) scored an average overnight household rating/share of 20.3/38.

That's the highest HH rating in 19 years for an early Sunday AFC Wild Card game in the NSI metered markets, since a 21.9/47 for New England-Cleveland on 1/1/95 on NBC.

Yesterday's 20.3/38 overnight rating for the Chargers-Bengals game is up 3% from last years 19.7/39 for Indianapolis-Baltimore (1:00-4:15PM ET).

The game rating peaked with a 23.7/41 from 4:00-4:15PM ET.
