OSU guard Aaron Craft earns weekly honor

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) -- OSU guard Aaron Craft has been named Big Ten Player of the Week.

Craft averaged 8.0 points, 7.0 assists, 3.5 steals and 5.5 rebounds per game without committing a single turnover in a pair of Big Ten wins at Purdue and versus Nebraska.

Against the Boilermakers, he handed out 10 assists against zero turnovers, pulled down eight rebounds, swiped four steals and chipped in eight points in playing all 40 minutes. Against Nebraska, the senior scored nine points on four field goals, made three steals, dished out four assists and corralled three rebounds

Craft currently leads the Big Ten in steals (2.5) and ranks second overall in assists (4.9 apg) and assist/turnover ratio (2.7).

This is his second career Big Ten Player of the Week plaudit and third weekly conference honor.
