UC Loses to Louisville 58-57
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The University of Cincinnati's basketball team lost to Louisville 58-57 in Saturday's game.
UC got off to a horrible start with Justin Jackson picking up two fouls less than three minutes into the game and UC going over nine minutes in the first half without scoring while Louisville pulled ahead by as many as 10 points.
The Bearcats scored only nine points in the first 16 minutes, six of which from
Sean Kilpatrick who went on to score his 2,000 career point in the second half of the game.
UC trailed by as much as 10 points in the second half, but two free throws from Troy Caupin gave the Bearcats a 57-56 lead. The game-winner was decided with 2.2 seconds left with Louisville winning 58-57.
This game was possibly the last time UC and Louisville will play each other because Louisville in heading to the ACC next season, but there's a good chance they will face each other in three weeks in the AAC Tournament Championship game.
