Reds-Rockies game postponed by water main break

DENVER (AP/WKRC) -- The game between the Colorado Rockies and Cincinnati Reds was postponed because of a water main break outside of Coors Field.

The scheduled start was 8:10 p.m. ET. The teams will play a doubleheader Sunday, with games starting at 4:10 p.m. ET and 9:10 p.m. ET.

The Reds will start RHP Mat Latos in the first game and newcomer Dylan Axelrod in the late game. The Rockies will counter with RHP Jordan Lyles and LHP Yohan Flande.

The Rockies say city officials were on their way to fix the issue. There were pools of water visible on the street and sidewalk near Blake Street, which is right outside the gate of the park.

Yellow tape was put up to keep fans away from the street and police officers patrolled the area.

The Reds play in St. Louis Monday night.
