Reds have RH Reynolds ready to go vs Brewers

CINCINNATI (AP) - The Reds have right-hander Greg Reynolds ready to start the final game of their series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.

Left-hander Tony Cingrani strained his lower back in his start Tuesday against Arizona, forcing him out in the fourth inning. The Reds lost 5-2. Cingrani said his back has been bothering him for some time.

He's scheduled to start Sunday against the Brewers. Cingrani said on Saturday that he's taken drugs to get rid of the inflammation and his back is feeling much better.

Manager Dusty Baker said the club is leaning toward Reynolds, who would make his second start of the season. Reynolds pitched five innings of a 5-3 loss in San Francisco on July 23. A decision was expected after Saturday night's game.
