Reds avoid arbitration with three more

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Teams and players had to file their numbers for arbitration on Friday. One day after signing OF Chris Heisey, the Reds agree to deals and avoid arbitration with three other players.

Per Jon Heyman, CBSSports.com baseball writer, Sam LeCure signed a 2-year deal worth $3.05 million.

Reliever Alfredo Simon will make $1.5 million, according to MLB on FOX reporter Ken Rosenthal.

Starter Mike Leake also signed for $5.925 million, as reported by Heyman.

Only Homer Bailey and Aroldis Chapman remain. The Reds have not gone to arbitration with a player since Chris Reitsma in 2004.
