Beating and treating heart disease
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Throughout Heart Health Month and the last year Local 12 has been sharing the latest research on beating and treating heart disease.
On Valentine's Day some of the top specialists, patients and the American Heart Association came together to share hot topics in women's health, starting with your own heart.
During a Facebook Live in the Cath Lab at St. Elizabeth Training and Education Center (SETEC), Liz Bonis shared new diet information, how to keep arteries open and how women can survive a heart event. Plus, learn three things you don't know about your own heart- including why eating breakfast may help reduce heart disease risk.
Also shared were ways to lower inflammation, how to take care of your heart and several other things critical to a woman's heart.
