Hats Off to the Holidays: St. Elizabeth style show benefits Comprehensive Cancer Center
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - It's the time of year where you can attend “Hats Off to the Holidays”, the annual St. Elizabeth style show.
This annual shopping day, luncheon and fashion show is at the Airport Marriott and it runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You can get all kinds of health information to improve your own health, unique gifts and the money raised each year goes to help fund a project that supports the new Comprehensive Cancer Center.
This will provide cutting edge care and personalized medicine for everything from treatment to hereditary cancer testing with genetic counselors.
“We can look at a patient’s family history to see if its characteristic of hereditary cancer, are people being diagnosed at multiple ages, is there a pattern in which multiple women have breast cancer across multiple generations, and that helps us to assess the patients risk of coming back positive for a mutation,” said Maureen Graham, a St. Elizabeth Genetic Counselor.
The style show is Monday, you can stop in anytime in that window to shop or learn more about good health.
