Tai Chi could help reduce knee pain (WKRC)

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A 12-week program of an ancient exercise could help reduce knee pain, especially from arthritis.

Patients who have knee pain have probably been told that physical therapy often can help after surgery and in recovery, but the MercyHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center has some other new research on knee pain.

Researchers discovered when they asked people and compared home exercise with “Tai Chi,” and physical therapy, they found the Tai Chi was just as good in some cases at reducing knee pain.
