BALASORE, India (Reuters/CBS Newspath) - A "rare" yellow turtle was captured by forest officials in India's eastern Balasore city on Sunday.
The turtle was first spotted by local residents and handed over to the forest department. Experts said it is possibly an albino mutation of a common turtle.
"This turtle that was rescued, its skull and body are yellow, truly it is very rare. I have not seen such a turtle in my life ever," said wildlife warden, Bhanoomitra Acharya.
