CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A man has been charged in the shooting death of a 12-year-old last month.

Caterrious Williams has been charged with first degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated assault according to police.

According to reports from WREG, Williams was visiting his girlfriend, the victim's sister, on Sept. 30. He told the girlfriend to make him something to eat. When she said no, he pulled out the gun and a fight ensued. Williams then told the girlfriend he heard a noise in the kitchen and she should go check it out.

When she returned, she told police she saw Williams standing over Devin Johnson, and then saw the gun go off. The 12-year-old was shot in the head. She told police Williams ran out of the house while she tried to help her brother.

Police say Williams denied any involvement upon questioning.
