HOUSTON (WKRC) - After helping an elderly customer cut up his food, a server at a Texas Waffle House's kind act went viral and even got her a scholarship.

Evoni Williams, 18, was working when the customer, who had recently undergone surgery, was having difficulty eating, says KTRK. Williams was then seen on camera helping him cut up his food.

This caught the eye of Texas Southern University, which then awarded her with a scholarship to the school. Williams has been working at Waffle House since she graduated high school to earn money for college.
