Falmouth Police arrest 4 during drug bust at home of city employee
FALMOUTH, Ky. (WKRC) - A seven-month drug investigation has brought down a Falmouth city employee.
Falmouth Police, the Pendleton County Sheriff's Office, and Kentucky State Police showed up at Todd Ramsey's house Thursday afternoon. Ramsey is in charge of water and waste water for the city. His house on Maple Avenue is also directly across from an addiction treatment center.
"The treatment center does what they can and people check in, but we can't get everybody to seek treatment and it's just been a long process of trying to get this problem under control and hopefully we've made a big dent in it today," says Pendleton County Sheriff Craig Peoples.
Ramsey was one of four men arrested Thursday. The sheriff says the men were trafficking either heroin or meth. Neighbors helped with the investigation by reporting suspicious activity on the street.
