ST. BERNARD, Ohio (WKRC) - The Tri-State's largest waste company says two fires in two days are because of people recycling things they shouldn't.

Rumpke sent a warning Thursday after flames broke out twice recently at its facility in St. Bernard. That recycling plant opened in 2013 after fire destroyed the previous one.

A spokesperson says dangerous items, like propane tanks, batteries and full aerosol cans, continue showing up every day.

The company wants you to double check the contents of your bin before you leave it at the curb.
