3CDC announces lineup of downtown events coming this summer
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - 3CDC has announced a lineup of events and programs to be held across downtown Cincinnati this summer.
The upcoming summer lineup has plans for live music, a summer camp, workout classes, lunch events, swimming lessons, and more.
The Frisch's Mobile Roller Rink is set to come to Fountain Square, with a residency in April. The roller rink is expected to serve as a pickleball court during the day.
Reggae Wednesday will change its location to Washington Park, to accommodate larger crowds. The Reggae Wednesday schedule will run between May to August, with two concerts a month being held on the Civic Lawn.
At Fountain Square, 3CDC in a partnership with Imani Productions will hold nights with dancing and wine specials, as well as live acoustic music. The event is set to be held on Wednesday's from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., beginning in May.
Summer Cinema will move to Ziegler Park starting in June. Summer Cinema was formally held in Washington Park.
The Jazz series, which began at Memorial Hall before expanding to Washington Park and later Fountain Square, is set to become a year-round program that will be held across all three locations.
A monthly BINGO night is being added to Imagination Alley, beginning in April.
A monthly Wine Walk will be added to Court Street Plaza, beginning in May.
Tuesday workouts, formally held at Washington Park, will be moved to Ziegler Park.
New monthly events are planned for Court Street Plaza, additional children's programming across all spaces, and more, 3CDC announced.
3CDC's goal is to break-even on the programs held at all six spaces it manages.
