CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - The long-planned redevelopment of the former Anthem site in East Walnut Hills took a step forward Friday morning.
Fortus Group, which will be redeveloping the 4.4-acre site with partner Buckingham Cos., received unanimous approval June 21 from Cincinnati Planning Commission for the final development plan for the project at the southwest corner of William Howard Taft Road and Woodburn Avenue. The project is expected to be an investment of more than $55 million.
Stephen Dronen, director of development for Fortus, said construction of the project is likely to start by the end of 2019. Construction is expected to last about 30 months, so the project would wrap up in the second quarter of 2022.
