Annual 'My Furry Valentine' held at Sharonville Convention Center
SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) - This weekend you can make Valentine's Day extra special for your sweetheart and give an animal a forever home.
The annual "My Furry Valentine" is being held at the Sharonville Convention Center Saturday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb. 11.
This is the seventh year for the event that finds homes for hundreds of animals in our region. This is the Tri-State's largest pet adoption event.
There will be more than 800 dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and other small pets available for adoption from dozens of the area's shelters and rescue organizations.
The event's mission is to help animals and people alike find their new best friend, as well as ending shelter euthanasia.
Over the last six years, the event has found homes for more than 3,400 animals. In addition to the event at the Sharonville Convention Center, there will be satellite locations around the Tri-State hosting adoption events.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Sharonville Convention Center is located at 11355 Chester Road. Tickets for general admission are $5. Early bird tickets, which give you special access, are $25.
