Batavia woman stabbed multiple times in unprovoked attack

BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A Batavia Township woman was rushed to the hospital Sunday evening after being stabbed in an attack by another woman.

It happened on Bay Meadow Drive in East Fork Crossing just before 5:30 p.m.

According to police, 28-year-old Jessica Lewis stabbed a 41-year-old victim multiple times, resulting in serious injuries.

Deputies arrived on the scene within minutes of the call and took Lewis into custody.

She was charged with felonious assault.

After interviewing witnesses at the scene, investigators said the attack appeared to be unprovoked by the victim.
