CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Busken Bakery and bourbon, an alliterative match made in flavor heaven, or rather, right here in the Queen City!
Busken Bakery is collaborating with Virginia Bakery to make "Bourbon Street Schnecken".
The crucial ingredient? As you guessed, it's bourbon! But not just any bourbon, it's the recently released New Riff Bourbon from New Riff Distilling in Northern Kentucky.
"Baking legend Tom Thie from Virginia Bakery (left) and Steve Hoelmer (right) from Busken collaborating on Bourbon Street Schnecken made with New Riff Bourbon - just in time for Mardi Gras! Available tomorrow at all 8 Busken Locations!" Busken Bakery wrote on their Facebook post featuring a video of them making the delectable treats.
Busken says that the Bourbon Street Schnecken will be available at all eight Greater Cincinnati area Busken Bakery stores and also at the New Riff Distillery in Newport starting on Thursday, February 21st through Fat Tuesday, March 5th.
