UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A car carrying two people fell from I-71 and landed in a river bed below the highway on Sunday.
Union Township fire crews responded to the scene at the Turtlecreek Rd. overpass in Warren County before 2 p.m.
Union Twp. Fire Rescue confirmed that the car fell nearly 100 feet from the highway, saying a rope system had to be set up to lift the victims from the ravine.
A medical helicopter took one of the people to the hospital. The other person was taken by ambulance.
Officials did not release any further information on the victims of the accident or their conditions.
