Charter bus fire closes eastbound I-74

DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. (WKRC) - A charter bus fire had all lanes closed on I-74 eastbound at mile marker 161, near St. Leon.

Dearborn County dispatch confirmed that initial calls for the incident came in at 2:45 p.m. Sunday.

Fire crews working the scene and were able to extinguish the blaze.

Investigators said the bus was traveling to Chillicothe, Ohio, but were unsure where they were traveling from or who was on the bus.

Police said there were no injuries and everyone made it off the bus safely.

It is unclear at this time what sparked the fire.
