CINCINNATI (WKRC) - An East Westwood mother is charged for allegedly leaving a gun unsecured in her home.

Ronasia Kyles' teenage son then shot himself with that gun, according to court papers.

Kyles is accused of leaving the gun unsecured on Wednesday at her Saffer Street home. It was accessible to her 13-year-old son, who shot himself.

Court records do not indicate whether the shooting was accidental or how badly her son was hurt.

Kyles faces three counts of child endangering.
