CINCINNATI (WKRC) - We're getting a look at the progress in the major restoration project at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

Outside the iconic art deco structure, crews finished the concrete base and will apply a waterproof liner. In 2017, it was discovered that water damage was worse than anticipated.

Inside, art conservators are high up on scaffolding to clean and repair the glass tile mosaics in the rotunda. The painted stucco above the mosaics will be patched and repaired.

It will take about nine more months to finish the $212-million project.
