CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Colerain Township man has been found guilty of sexually exploiting two children.

Nicholas Veerkamp, 30, was convicted by a federal jury on Thursday after a four-day trial.

According to court documents, the abuse happened in 2017.

In August, Veerkamp took explicit photos of a 12-year-old child while the victim slept, creating three images of child pornography.

He did the same to a nine-year-old victim in October, taking 19 pictures, including photos in which he exposed the child's genitals.

Other images of underage girls were also found on his devices.

Veerkamp was already a registered sex offender following a sexual imposition conviction in 2016.
