Colerain Police ask for help identifying driver in fatal hit-and-run

Colerain Police want to track down the car in a fatal hit-and-run and identify the driver (CPD)

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - Colerain Township Police want to track down the driver who struck a pedestrian and left him to die. Investigators say the driver was behind the wheel of a silver 1997-1999 Toyota Camry.

Police were sent to Cheviot Road, near West Galbraith Avenue, at about 3 a.m. on Sunday morning for a pedestrian struck by a car. The victim was walking in the northbound lane of Cheviot Road when he was hit. He later died at UC Medical Center. Police have not released the victim's name.

Police believe that older Camry will have front end damage on the passenger side. It's also missing the passenger side mirror, right front headlight assembly and the right bomper in front of the wheelwell. The photo is not of the actual car.
