CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A scavenger hunt that’s been going on since November comes to an end this week, and even if you haven’t already started, it’s not too late to catch up.
“Finding Losantiville” is part of a community-based event, FOUND, that is geared toward bringing people downtown to celebrate the holidays in a socially distant manner.
“The goal for all of these is to provide people with activities outdoors so that they can come down and experience the urban core and hopefully make some new memories for the holidays,” 3CDC spokesperson Joe Rudemiller said.
If you’re interested in signing up for the scavenger hunt, you can click here and then click “Join the Scavenger Hunt.” From there, you’ll receive your first clue.
Everyone who solves all four weeks of clues before Christmas Eve will be entered into a raffle to win $2,000 for themselves and $2,000 for a charity of their choice.
The scavenger hunt will take you from Findlay Market to The Banks and the founders hope you’ll stop at local businesses along the way.
“We’re trying to do everything we can to support these small businesses,” Rudemiller said. “They’re really the life and blood of downtown and have been so critical to the renaissance we’ve seen the past 10 or 15 years, but right now a lot of them are struggling.”
The final week of clues began at 9 a.m.
