GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - The construction project at the Five Points intersection in Green Township is coming to a close.

The new traffic signal at Bridgetown and Taylor roads will be activated Monday. The Ohio Department of Transportation says it will be in flash mode, flashing just red and yellow lights, until around 9 a.m. Thursday when it will switch to being fully activated.

The detour to Rybolt Road will also be removed. ODOT says there will be signs in place to alert drivers to the changes.

Once the detour is lifted, crews will be performing basic wrap-up and clean-up tasks. There may also be some lane closures before the final completion date, which is Sept. 14.
