Coney Island hosts 51st annual Summerfair
ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - Summerfair kicks off Friday afternoon at Coney Island.
The art fair has been going strong for 51 years and features work from artists from across the country.
Summerfair features more than 300 fine artists and craftspeople from across the country exhibiting and selling their works ranging from ceramics and sculptures to paintings and photographs.
More than 20,000 visitors enjoy the event on average.
The juried art exhibits are showcased in 12 categories, including photography, painting, drawing/printmaking, wood, metal, scultpure, glass, ceramics, fibers, leather, and 2D/3D mixed media.
The event runs from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Proceeds from Summerfair Cincinnati provide award, scholarship and exhibit opportunities to a variety of emerging artists and smaller art organizations throughout the year.
One-day tickets are $10 and multi-day tickets are $15. Only cash is accepted at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
