CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A man is charged with scamming an elderly Clinton County couple of of $50.500 through his business.
Michael Foster faces two counts of theft from a person in a protected class and one count of telecommunications fraud.
Ohio Attorney General David Yost said Foster accepted a down payment to build the couple's house through his business Five 13 Properties.
Yost said Foster did not perform any work, delivery any materials or refund any money.
Foster also texted the couple from June 2021 through January 2022 but only to maintain the charade and continue to steal from the couple, according to Yost.
