Crash shuts down I-75 southbound in Northern Kentucky
FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (WKRC) - A crash involving two semis and a sedan shut down I-75 southbound in Northern Kentucky for a period Sunday night.
It happened after 8 p.m. just past the Fort Mitchell exit.
One of the trucks was carrying 38,000 pounds of steel.
All lanes were shut down, causing traffic to back up quickly.
Traffic was re-routed off the Fort Mitchell exit as crews cleaned up diesel fuel that spilled across the expressway.
Three people, two men and a woman, from three separate vehicles were injured and went to the hospital. All of the injuries are considered to be minor, according to the Ft. Mitchell Fire Chief.
