Dealership gives Indiana teacher who heroically tackled suspected school shooter a new car
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WKRC) - The teacher who stopped the Indiana school shooting was honored again on Wednesday. This time, with a free car!
Jason Seaman got the brand new 2018 Hyundai Elantra from car dealership outside Indianapolis.
"Their support - it's uplifted me it's uplifted my wife, my family. Everybody that it's affected. There are 1300 plus kids who go to that school and they all have parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles. Every reach out of support supports them too. So thank you from the bottom of my heart," said Seaman.
The dealership is also going to help the victim of the shooting, Ella Whistler. She's still in the hospital.
The dealership will donate a portion of sales for every car sold between Memorial Day and Father's Day to help pay for the 13-year-old's medical expenses.
