CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - An online marketplace that auctions discounted merchandise that has been returned to retailers has opened a massive Cincinnati area warehouse, the company's second in the U.S.
Liquidity Services on March 8 opened a 100,000-square-foot warehouse for its AllSurplus Deals marketplace at 1180 Elijah Creek Road in Hebron, Ky. It's the company's second warehouse, after Phoenix.
AllSurplus Deals buys lots of returned merchandise from retailers and manufacturers and auctions them online. The Hebron warehouse was built to store more than 1 million items. Examples of items currently on auction in the warehouse include an Apple iPad Pro listed for $200, a KitchenAid stand mixer listed for $80 and a Keurig K-Cafe coffee and espresso maker listed for $17.
