Dover, Kentucky, residents vote to keep city status

DOVER, Ky. (WKRC) - A tiny northern Kentucky town gets to keep its welcome sign.

Less than 300 people live in Dover, Kentucky, which is in Mason County. One hundred of them showed up to vote on an issue to dissolve the city.

Eighty-three people voted to keep it as is. Mayor Bruce Eder said he's happy he gets to keep his job.

The town also has two new city commissioners.
